giving other people what you have

about two weeks ago i went to camp and it was so fun. one thing they told us at the beginning of camp that at one part we would have to be serious and we couldn't act crazy then. so when that time came they told us that we would each get 10 dollars!!! and of course all of the boys started cheering, but then they said that we would get to choose 1 of the 4 christian companies that we wanted to give our ten dollars to.

this is the first christian company it is called 1verse. there are more that 2,200 unreached languages ,and 353 million people do not have 1 verse translated in their language. and for $26.00 you can translate a verse of the bible. this would be a great gift for someone and you can choose which verse you want to give someone and you can get a card to show that person that you gave them a verse of the bible in another person in the world's language. to find out more go to www.oneverse.org.

the second christian company is called food for the hungry/ worldvision. when was the last time your family dumped out food our wasted because you didn't like it or you were full. in some parts of africa and south america and places like that they don't get full or dump out food because they really don't have food. more than 1 billion people experience hunger on a daily basis, and a kid dies from hunger-related causes every 7 seconds. you can buy someone a duck for $6.00 , fruit trees for $6.00, a chicken for $13.00, and seeds for $17.00. whenever you buy something for someone you can get a magazine so you can find out more things you can donate. to find out more about food for the hungry go to www.worldvision.com

the next christian company is called living water. every 15 seconds a child dies of lack of clean water, and 884 million people in the world do not have access to safe water. and sometimes if they have access to clean water most people have to walk about 3-5 miles to get water. and for less than $1.00 a day you can give 1 family clean water for a year. for more info go to www.water.cc

the next christian company is el salvador. el salvador is a country that is in mexico and that is very open to jesus christ. candace carr was born and raised at fbct (my church). she is helping take care of an orphanage in mexico with 22 boys who are all christians for $10.00 you can send them to school for a month, provide them clothing, and feed them for almost two weeks.

these are things that you can do to help any of these people. if you want to help any of these people just tell me which christian company you want to give the money too. and i will donate that money to our church so they can give it to that company. whenever you buy something i will give you a hand/ankle bracelet in return.
